Buachidze Andro


Andro Buachidze (born 1957 in Tbilisi) is a poet, critic, essayist and translator. He graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with a degree in philology. He has worked as a deputy editor at the public-literary journal Mnatobi, also as an editor in literary magazines Tsiskari and Saunje and in Giorgi Leonidze State Museum of Georgian Literature. Andro Buachidze has won several literary prizes in Georgia, including the SABA Literary Award which he won both in 2005 and 2017.
