Tavelidze Irma
Since completing her degree in philology, Irma Tavelidze (born 1973 in Gori) has lived in Tbilisi, working as a translator from English and French (she has translated the work of Michel Houellebecq, J.M. Coetzee and Paul Auster, among others). In 1999, she started her career as a writer. In 2008, she won the TSERO literary competition, a prize awarded by readers. Her works have been translated into French, German, Swedish and other languages.
